Young Motivators Youth Operations
Young Motivators Objectives
Promote mental, moral and physical development in local youth;
Advocate a healthy, drug-free lifestyle through continual drug prevention education.
Instill ideals of honesty, fairness, courage, respect, loyalty, dependability, attention to duty, love of God and fidelity to our country and its institutions;
Stimulate interest and respect for academic acheivement and the history and traditions of the United States of America; and
Develop physical fitness through physical activities, athletics and drills.
NCF Young Motivators continues our leadership's 25-year experience empowering youth.
We teach the importance of teamwork, self-discipline, leadership skills, and provide mental, physical, and moral training that builds good citizens.
Through a variety of programs and partners, NCF Young Motivators strengthens local youth with a focus on self-confidence and academic achievement and maintaining a drug-free lifestyle. NCF Young Motivators offers home-schooled children healthy and supervised social interaction.
Enrolling ages 8 to 18, we offer many opportunities for Young Motivators to help our neighbors and themselves, including:
Garden & Farm Operations: in partnership with Katie’s Krops and Thomas Nichols' Farm, Young Motivators work to grow vegetables - from seed to harvest.

Drug-Free Living: we provide comprehensive drug resistance and drug prevention training, and as Young Motivators learn and grow, they, in turn, present this information to their peers in community settings.

Physical & Mental Fitness and Nutrition: all Young Motivators learn the importance of “real” and nutritious food and maintaining physical exercise for health, as well as instruction on emotional and social well-being.
Community Service and Outreach: Young Motivators are often called to assist the Fort White and Lake City communities, whether directing traffic or helping charities, Young Motivators step forward and assist as needed.

Restoring Hope: Young Motivators may support local seniors, veterans, and women in need. In special cases, we may assist with light yard work, grocery delivery, household chores, or serving holiday meals, depending upon availability and circumstances.
Workplace Skills: through program opportunities, and in partnership with EmployU, Young Motivators gain valuable skills. EmployU offers Work Readiness Training and Interview Skills, helping youth along the path to independence. Young Motivators also make local connections through the program that provide opportunity for career success.
About EmployU
Food Pantry Operations: when school schedules permit, Young Motivators help in transporting, storing, packaging and distributing over 50 tons of food each year, providing nutritious food to over 900 people each week.

Homeless Outreach: Young Motivators gather supplies and fill “Buckets of Hope”. Adult volunteers then distribute the buckets to homeless people.
K-9 Power: Young Motivators socialize and train dogs, from puppies through their first year or more, to provide disabled veterans with minimally trained service dogs.
